WWB Recognition Award for Excellence in Global

Engaged Scholarship

Wisconsin Without Borders (WWB) is a UW-Madison alliance and award program that recognizes globally engaged interdisciplinary scholarship and fosters excellence by networking through joint learning activities. We draw on the history and values of the Wisconsin Idea and the many remarkable partnerships that UW-Madison faculty members and students have initiated, both in Wisconsin and around the world. Every spring, we honor these individuals and their work at the WWB Award Ceremony, receiving both recognition and a small financial award.
Award amounts between $500 and $1500. The number of awards offered will be determined by the selection committee based on the number and quality of the applications received.  Submitted projects need to be completed be before March 2017.  Individuals/groups can submit their project directly to Wisconsin Without Borders or individuals can nominate candidates.  For more information about the 2017 application process, please contact ggrainger@wisc.edu.
