2016 Wisconsin Without Borders Awards Ceremony
Celebrating and recognizing globally-engaged scholarship and reflection at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Join us to celebrate UW-Madison faculty, staff and students who have demonstrated excellence in interdisciplinary engagement that places local communicates at the center of their work, blurring the borders between the university community. Wisconsin Without Borders recognizes, through its award categories, work that demonstrates Service Learning, Community Based Research, and Multimedia examples of reflection in action. Come and celebrate and network with us this year’s award winners. Refreshments will be served; posters and films will be on hand for viewing.

Latino Earth Partnership (LEP) Local to Global efforts with Teachers, Community and Students: October 30, 2015: 9-10:30- Union South (TITU)
Maria Moreno from the Latino Earth Partnership and Wisconsin Without Borders board member, UW students Lauren Feierstein and Brenna O’Halloran, and a representative from the Catholic Multicultural Center will present on how their combined community based learning/local-to-global environmental stewardship model and partnership led to a Wisconsin Idea Fellowship project in Ecuador with the Ceiba Foundation.
